Maximum Spidey is GREAT!
The media could not be loaded.
Controversy aside, I personally Love this figure. I’m an avid Spiderm-Man fan and love collecting these marvel legends. The figure comes with a great deal of accessories and the articulation is top notch! On my personal copy, I had no messy paint, no broken pieces, and no major complaints. Only “issue” I had was the leg joints were too tight so I literally ran some hot water and placed the figure under the running water for like 10 seconds and BAM. Legs are much more easy to pose and move! If you don’t have a Spider-Man yet, honestly I’d recommend this figure. It’s a great starter figure and comes with a plethora of accessories to choose from! Couple days of owing the toy and no complaints still! Don’t let your decision be made by all the negativity/hate the figure is getting.

Pricey bot lots of accessories you can use
At being double the (list price) of a regular Marvel Legends fig, if we’re able to get them before the resellers got them first, this box set is worth it. Body has great articulation, a lot of fun to pose and play with, and comes with many accessories. Love all the extra hands. Unlike the Maximum Hulk figure , the other accessories like webbing and you can use withthe figure. The legs can pull down so if you did not know about that don’t let it freak you out when you pose it and the legs seem like they are about to come off. Definitely getting my money’s worth.

Awesome but would recommend!!!
Absolutely amazing articulation and I love the McFarlane look all the accessories are cool wish the webs had bendy wire but definitely the best cheapest first party branded figure

Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
Pretty good figure, but the accessories don’t quite make it worth $50. If it were $40, most people probably wouldn’t be complaining as much as the toy community has been. Definitely the best domestic/Hasbro Peter Parker/Spidey figure, but if you already own the Renew Your Vows figure or a MAFEX comic version, you could probably live without it. That said, it looks great alongside all the improved Marvel Legends. Not a must-have, but definitely a fun figure if you’re into toy photography or like posing figures without worrying about snapping something like you might with an import that costs $75–120 depending on where you buy

great spidey!!! best legends has done and worth 50 more than that import is 100
beautiful spidey . its worth 50 bucks alot more than a mafex is worth 100. my paintlines came crisp and clean and not a defect on the whole thing. ive seen mafex with missing paint all over, so all the mafex lovers are in love with that import name, not to mention how many break them.the internet is full of videos of people crying about paying 110 bucks then one shelf dive and u have imported custom fodder. the cheap plastic they talk about is not cheap it just has more give as these are first and formost toys— put a import label on max spidey and give him a new namebrand and hasbro haters and import snobs will be singing his praises. the accessories could be better, the head selection isnt great and the tobey maguire comic head is almost creepy but for the most part this set is great. he dose any pose you want and his joints are almost too tight. hes the perfect size for spidey, shorter than RYV and has a lithe, not bodybuilder shape. peter isnt 6 foot 2 or even 6 foot and he should not be as tall as cap or ironman. my small nitpicks is i had to wrap a wire around the web to make it bendy and the toes are hollow but other than that this spidey is a gem.

The Crown Jewel of my Spiderman Collection
Ok so I was a little hesitant at first with this one, because of the price. $50 is insane, and makes this the most expensive ML in my collection(not counting the multipacks). But Spidey is my favorite character in all of marvel, so I caved. And after receiving the figure I can say that it is worth it. The figure by itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the articulation is probably the best I’ve seen on a ML figure. The freaking accessories man, there are so many. My favorites include the hand shooting the web, and the Arachnofrequency(Spider Sense). This figure is not perfect though. I wish the blue was a bit brighter. The unmasked head sculpt looks a bit goofy. And the web strand I have him displayed with is very flimsy, and flops down. I wish it had a wire running through it so I could pose it. And the accessories are both a positive, and negative. I love the effort to include as many accessories as possible, but I can only display him with so many, so a good chuck of the accessories that I payed $50 for are going to end up in one of my drawers since I won’t be using them. With all that being said, I still absolutely love this figure, and out of all 19 Spiderman figures I own, I can confidently say that this is crowning jewel of them all. Well him and Supaidaman

Meh
Im annoyed. This figure is only slightly better in articulation but what has me really pissed id than I don’t mind paying more for something if it’s worth it and it’s is not worth 40 let alone 50. Hasbro is full of themselves. My biggest gripe is that the left tifh swivel is gummy and stuck. I tried everything and I have to leave it alone so it doesn’t snap off. $50 lmao that’s a joke. Nit cause it a legends but because it’s not worth 50 in quality. 30 at best. If this is the direction hasbro is going then they only have themselves and freed to blame for there down fall. At 50 I shouldn’t be worried about snapping something and slightly more articulation should be a given not a privilege. Smh I wanted this to be really good. Ita nit uts your average legends with alittle more accessories to over price the product.

Maximum Man
Oh man where do I start? I guess the $50 price makes sense? At least nowadays. I think this figure is done really well. I can’t think of something articulation wise that it’s missing. Hasbro did a great job and it’s a good start to this maximum series. But even months later I still find myself posing other Spider-Men like Amazing Fantasy over this one. Maybe it’s because they went with the 90’s McFarlane look? I would have preferred if it was a more definitive standard Spidey but oh well. No issue with ordering figure on amazon. The joints were smooth and no QC issues. Honestly though wait for a sale. I think it’s worth $35-40
